Welcome to this new episode of Explore! 😎
For those of you that have been here since the beginning, 1000 thanks, and welcome to the newcomers who have joined us in recent weeks. I receive a lot of encouragement on LinkedIn, the best way to send me some love is to follow this podcast and give it 5 stars. It will allow others to discover it. 🙏
In this episode I sat down with Jacqueline Van Den Ende, the founder and CEO of Carbon Equity, a climate investing platform that aims to mobilize billions of private capital from millions of people to fund climate solutions. We discussed Jacqueline's journey from flying to the Philippines and leading a rocket internet company, to coming back in Europe and becoming a venture capital investor. We uncovered the stories behind the creation of Carbon Equity, how they managed to raise $2M in a Seed round from potential customers and later $6M in Series A. We also discussed the grind of convincing funds to join the platform, such as Breakthrough Energy Ventures (Bill Gates climate impact funds) and many more stories.🚀
Have a great episode!
