Conventional agriculture contributes 23% of global GHG emissions
Soil carbon sequestration is rated as a top climate solution by the IPCC, but regenerative agriculture can’t scale globally until it’s more profitable than conventional farming

Solution (30 sec)

Holo offers a farm operating system that digitizes workflows end-to-end and uses AI to optimize farming processes. By automating and refining crop planning, labor tasks, and resource use, it drives down the costs of diversified farming and boosts yields – ultimately aiming to make regen farming more profitable than conventional farming.

- AI crop planning
- QR-code traceability
- Automating carbon credit documentation

Proof of Concept (30 sec)

Functional prototype deployed on mid-size vegetable farms. At Norwich Meadows Farm in New York (a large organic farm), the operations manager credited Holo’s automation with a quality-of-life breakthrough.
Partnerships: Future integrations with soil testing labs and procurement systems by end of 2025.

Founders, Team, and Story (30 sec)

Founded in 2022 by Ludvig Suneson (CEO): Harvard-educated entrepreneur who has spent years working on technological solutions for small farms
Ludvig has observed the pain points (marketing, logistics, and data management) for farmers and it inspired him to create a more comprehensive digital solution. Holo extended that concept into a full farm management and marketplace platform tailored for regenerative ag.

Market Opportunity (30 sec)

Regenerative agriculture adoption must scale from 15% to 40% of global cropland by 2030 to meet climate goals. This would save 600 million tons of emissions which is the equivalent of Germany’s footprint.
The market for farm management software is large and growing fast. It’s estimated around $4.2 billion globally in 2024 and projected to grow at ~15–17% CAGR through 2030.
